I hope someone can help me, i have recently discoved a stray cat in the carpark where i work, she is a long haired black moggy with white paws and rather skiny, she also has a weeping eye with green goo comeing out of it and her other eye is blood shot. She is the sweetest looking cat i have ever seen and seems very affectinate but timid at the same time i have given her soom food and water and she gobbled it down. Now who do i contact to help this poor little girl as i have never done anything like this before.:(

Thanks in advance.

I wonder if the Celia hammond Trust will be able to help? http://www.celiahammond.org/
(Tigs has just started some voluntary work with them)
Or Cats Protection?
Battersea?
Mayhew?

Good luck and well done for trying

Morning everyone, just a quick update I never heard back from the Ceila Hammond trust so phoned the RSPCA and they came out about 8 o'clock last night, so had to stay in the office untill then, anyway they said the kitty had been neglected for some time. I have some pics that i will upload in a little while oh yes and the RSPCA will ring me today to let me know how she got at the vets. xxxxx

Claire m

Yes they did, they did think about releasing her after she had been seen to but because there is a main road outside my office they decied it would be best to try to re-home her if she is ok.

Just an update on the stray cat i found, anyway rang the rspca who had taken the cat to the vets, had her checked out and the vet said she was male and had been nutered and then cat had been moved the the Chestnut cat sanctuary where on arrival there the said she was infact a female and about 2/3 years old and has had at least 10 litters of kittens in that time, her body was deterating (sp) due to giving birth so often and was on the verge of colapsing and probably dying. She has now been spayed, vacinated and chipped and given antibiotics for an infection in her eyes and and was put on a drip for 3 days. Since then she has put on a nice aount of weight and is doing well. The only other thing the cat sanctuary said she may have had a litter of kittens recently but chances are that they would not have survied.

Anyway here she is all snug and warm.

Had to put the link of the website as could not put it on photobucket
