Baby Robin

OH noticed Bronwyn acting a bit strange near our passion flower over the last few days, so he had a bit of a look and there is a Robins nest in there and a baby chick :-D

He got the cat in and we have been watching them bring food for the baby!!!! :smt007

The cats will stay in until the weekend and I will make sure they do not go near the nest.

Unfortunately Mags, I think she would have done given a chance!!! she really doesn't like birds whereas Arthur isn't that bothered by them.

It is very close to our bedroom window :) I will keep an eye on it and if I can Moli I will try and get some photos :)

aww, how sweet and exciting to watch. I had a blackbird nest under my bedroom window last year. It was so great to watch mum and dad flying back and forth and then we got to see them bringing the chicks down onto our lawn for food when they started to fly.

Aww how sweet! I too hope you manage to get a couple of photo's. It would be really nice to see. I dont think I have ever seen a baby robin before either. Lucky you.

Well they have been coming and going today feeding the baby, Bronwyn had decided to sit on the window sil and watch them!!! lol but she was scaring them so I hoofed her off. I really will have to keep an eye on her when she goes outside.
