Going to shops this morning in the car i found a cat that had beign run over. I live in a small villiage and the cars and the occasional bus go through and tractors go through at a realy high speed. I had never seen the cat before but he was a realy handsome giner tom call henry. The owner has only beign in the villiage for about 2 months and i had only spoke to her twice but i knew where he lived so i went round and took it too her to him she is such a nice lady she has had him since a small kitten and he was nine. I have since beign around and spoke to her i was holding back the tears.
Thinking of you henry

:( :( :(
Thank you for doing a final kindness for Henry and getting him home.
It's very sad isn't it? It often seems that the country is least safe for cats - too little traffic for them to develop road sense? I know my sister lost 2 cats on the road when she was almost at the end of a 'no through road' with a farm at the end.

Its the risk you take letting your cats out, I feel sorry for the lady and her family. Maybe cats in the country aren't as "streetwise" as their town cousins, and get complacent. It was realy nice of you to let her know its the not knowing whats happened that would be worse I think.

RIP.

You did him and his owner the kindest thing possible, to unite them. The worst thing on this earth is not knowing. You are very kind

RIP Henry.

Thankyou for all your kind thoughts about Henry. The owners partner came around to thank me again last night and gave me 2 easter egss for my daughters. Just beign around to see the lady to give her a plant for Henry. They burried him in his favourite spot in the bottom of the garden. She has got 2 dogs and a 13yr old persian as well and they are all missing him.

That's so sad. Poor Henry :( It happened to me a fw months ago, we found a cat on the little-used access road behind our house, and it was a cat that we knew too :( .

It's so kind of you to take a plant round. That's such a lovely gesture.
