how many feeds per day

Keanu is now 21 weeks old / 5 months.
how many meals should he be having per day now?
im still putting down 3 for him, although hes not eating it all, but i think that could be down to the weather as well as its so hot.

In one day, i spose hes getting one sachet of hilife mixed with 3-4 handfuls of burns dry food over the course of 3 meals.

I have always had complete biscuits down for my cats, they eat as and when they want them, they only get a sachet at night for their supper...

jerry has 1 pouch of natures menu a day and has his biscuits down the rest of the day

Mine get two meals a day - both wet food. As soon as they walk away I have to lift the bowl and throw away any leftovers to avoid stray cats coming into the house for free meals. I might give them a handful of dry food when I get in from work around 3.30pm.

nothing really gets left down round here, i like to keep them all in a routine, otherwise keanu ends up eating indies food and vise versa. Keanu wont touch biscuits on their own, although im sure if i gave him no choice he would.
Lately we've been forgetting to give him his lunch time meal cos he hasnt asked. So i think perhaps he probably is ready to go onto 2 meals.

mines get dry a bowl of dry food each to eat as and when they want and 1 tin between them a day.

Mine get wet food/raw food twice a day but there is always dried food available at all times...

Sounds like Keanu is sorting out his feeding regime for himself.
(Mine are still on 2 meals a day plus a few biscuits @ bedtime!)

come to think of it, i spose if we end up going to bed late he ends up having a nibble at like 9pm. Just cos his evening feed is at about 5/6pm so hes hungry again by 9 and i cant stand being kept awake all night by a hungry cat! lol

To be honest, Oli probably has 3 or 4 wet meals a day. He has dry biscuits and water available all day too.

He doesnt really eat many dry biscuits, but he loves his wet food! Most days he has three pouches & if he doent have this much food, he will let us know!! He is quite a pig! ;)

As were in all day (coz me & Hugh are at uni) Oli doesnt really have a proper routine. BUT, when we finish uni in the summer & start work Im sure he will get into a rouine as quick as a flash ;)

my 6 little cats have 2 meals aday both dry they all seem to be eating it and our youngest 2 are nearly 1 year old

All 9 of mine have dry food left down all day as well as plenty of fresh water. I find this the easiest as Persians are renownd for 'grazing'.

My girl is an oldie but fussy so she has four wet meals a day and ad lib dry :)
