The most wonderful cat ever died November 28, 2006. Oreo was found on the side of the road and named Lucky. The person who found her took her to the vet, got her shots and everything, and gave her to a friend. The friend named her Pence, as in Tuppence, but the friend's landlord wouldn't let her keep Pence. That's when I came into the picture. I found the ad in the paper and convinced my mom to take me to see the cat. I immediately fell in love, and we took her home. That was two years ago. Then last November, she was hit by a car in the middle of the night. I found her in the morning; she'd crawled under the house to hide. Her back was broken, and I was afraid to move her, I didn't want to hurt her even more. She died in the afternoon, and sad as I was, I was glad that her suffering was over. She was a wonderful cat, and I miss her.
