To be able to get to the "bottom" of it, we will have to know what he is fed on, Tom :D

   Oh bless Oli.
Maybe a change of diet would help? Ofcourse any change should be made gradually so as not to upset his tummy.
What is Oli currently fed on?

Is Oli fed wet or dried food?
Might be an idea to get him onto something like Hills Science Plan for Sensitive Stomaches or Roayal Canin Sensible.

ahhhhh right ive got a question in another question now what if he has food and then he goes of it and never eats it again and finishes his biscuits so he starves:?

He only ever has the same biscuits ... Royal Canin Kitten 34. Would that be a reason????.

Tbh I find wet food is more likely to give them wind than the biscuits..

How is she physically for her age? Normally kittens are fed kitten food until about a year old, or so we are advised but I know that my Eva was started on adult foods between 8 and 10 months because she was getting quite large and it was felt she no longer needed the extra proteins.
Maybe you would be able to start introducing an adutl food to her, it may be the extra nutrients that are making her gassy.

Which wet foods does she eat?

Tom_J

he is already on adult food hes been on adult food since (i think) about 7 and a half mnths because he went off kitten food completely - tanya asked about it at the time and was advised to change to adult food

He never eats liver.

No suggestions from here, Tom' fortunately none of mine have ever had that problem! Has Tanya discussed it with her vet?

Tom_J

No she hasnt because other than his bad wind he is a very happy and healthy cat! ;)

We have been discussing the situation at home and think that his wind may be due to nervousness ... for example, when strange people come and visit (he is worse then!)

Maybe the gravey in the felix is too much for her tummy?

Elaine

I made the last comment because Bernie is the Emperor Ming but is much better if we stay away from any wet foods with gravey.
