Moli, I know that the color of Siamese points is influenced by body temperature... the ears, face, feet and tail are slightly cooler than the body, hence the darker fur. This may sound crazy, but does he sleep on the radiator with that side of his face usually down?

He does sleep with that side of his face next to a radiator DM.....Think you have solved the problem for me;) Thanks..:D So if he stops sleeping like that should his mask go dark again??

Afraid I don't know the answer to that...I would think as the weather warms and the body temperature reverts to normal, it might, but probably not until all the fur on that side of his mask had been shed and new fur grows in...

I don't think it can change until he sheds. And I do know that siamese who have had operations can get a colour-change under the bandage. Maybe you can search the net for more information on that and get an answer?
