Poor Bernie and Eva

Took today off work as my new sofas were being delivered today. I was told they would be delivered between 8 and 5.30 today. OMG 7.45 and in the shower, the buzzer is buzzing the phone is rining:shock: Its the delivery men, soaking wet I pulled some clothes on. Bernie came running down stairs with me, so i opened the back door and let him out into the garden asa the front door leads to very busy main street. Poor Eva didnt know where to go, she was running all over the place, growling and hissing so I managed to usher her into the bedroom and closed the door. I also closed the back door as the delivery men had wedged the front one open.
Once everything had been delivered and the men had gone, I let Eva out of the bedroom, poor thing looked terrified and is still not really talking to me. Went and opened the back door and poor Bernie came running in meowing his head off and looking for reasuranses that he hadnt been dumped again.
My poor babies, I've got a lot of making up to do today.

But at least everything was sorted early, so you have a good day to help them recover.
And I bet they will soon take over the new sofas... ^^
