Rudy!

A couple of months ago we had a new foster to stay, I think I mentioned him here. He is an ex racing greyhound called Rudy. Well, just to let you all know that he is now a permanent resident at our home!! He is so perfect, hardly know we have him. Great on lead, good in the house, non-destructive, fab with the cats, extremely obedient, gentle, we just couldn't let him go. Lovely Rudy.

I am a softie Dawn. Not sure that fostering is for me!! :o I love blues, it is nice to have another one. Personality wise Rudy is a cross between Ben & Daisy I think!!

Kazz, the next walk is on Easter Sunday. I think it will be at Beacon Hill.

I'm not sure if I mentioned before, (forgive me, my memory is getting bad!!) but Rudy's racing name was Brenda's command (My first name is Brenda, middle name Kim) so it was destiny I think!!

Thats why there are hardly any fosterers. They all fall inlove with there fosters! He's a handsom chap and very lucky to have his paws under your table forever.

Lovely dog. Greyhounds are such gentle-looking animals it's excellent that he's found a home with you Kim.

His 'bald' bottom is partly through being in a kennel and partly stress. The fur is starting to grow back now.

Yes Mags, he's a blue and I think they are lovely. Our other grey, Daisy who we so sadly lost to a lung tumour was also a blue, so I have a soft spot for them. Daisy's the one in my avatar. She was such a darling, the loveliest, most gentle, sweet natured, obedient girl.

I know Fran, I was shocked too! Apparently he is such a wuss when they are clipped, so we are trying to get them to wear down naturally, if not it's a trip to the vet for him!
