Good grief!!! And the stupid thing is, there is people who will pay that rather than go to their local rescue and pick a moggy from there!

Unless the laws are changed to stop anyone other than thoroughly vetted and registered breeders from breeding for profit, the hundreds of litters of unwanted cats and dogs will never ever stop because believe they can make money out of it and then can!

There are enough accidents without people making a profit out of it - makes me so angry:evil:

I paid £20 for Oli!!

I think its silly charging ridiculous prices like the mentioned advert. If you are trying to sell kittens for that price you have obviously bred your moggy with the intention of making a profit from the kittens.

 I just came across this site so I had to make a post to this bit of a shocker!! I'm a regular 'scaler' of cat sites (usually cat rescues/shelters).Unfortunately I can't own a cat yet as I have a 10year old staffordshire terrier bitch and a toddler which they both take up my time :( even though the staffie is marvelous with the 2 cats living next door,I wouldn't think it fair on them all.Anyways, I can always dream about having that toyger or moggie 1 day ;) Oh,and nice to meet you all :)

Going to jump on my soapbox again. If it was made illegal to sell cats for profit this kind of thing would stop or at least slow down dramatically. When people know that they can sell kitten from £30 up it is a huge incentive NOT to have your cat spayed!!

I hope the new animal welfare act changes things..and make people think before they buy..
