Baggy is not a well pussy. For the last few days he has been drooling and i dont mean i little. its been bootlaces of the stuff. he's hotter than usual. I had a feeling it may be cat flu but he is not sneezing or coughing. He's still eating well and drinking. Im now thinking that mabe he has a bad tooth wihich would cause him to drool.

Any ideas??

Advice??

I'd take him to the vet to be checked over tomorrow.

I've never heard of cat flu? Dog flu yes, but never cat flu? What are the symptoms.

I do hope its just a tooth and nothing more with Bagheera. Let us know how he does.

Poor thing. Sounds like he's got a really sore throat? Maybe a bug/virus like Moli's babies are suffering. Antibiotics are helping them so I'm sure your vet will be able to help.

I hope Bagheera is OK . . . I'll work on the basis of no news is good news but fingers crossed.

Kobster - cat flus is actually very serious - more than just a bad cold and it can be (and sadly often is) a killer :(

Hope Bagheera is feeling better. How did it go at the vets?

hey everyone! Bagheera is on atibiotics for a weeks to see if it will help him. The vet couldn't see anything to be wrong with him. Im hoping it was just a tooth. Feeling a bit happier now though, knowing its nothing to bad.

I'm glad the vet doesn't think it is anything serious. Perhaps he needs a dental?

The vet is the best idea. The Drooling could be from nothing important, but what if it is very serious? Cat's seem to fail very quickly, so no time to lose. Glad your getting kitty to the vet! Hope it turns out to be a little thing.
