I'll make it brief as I'm still at work & want to get home... :shock:
but there should be a pregnant cat at mine when I get home.
Not the one I was expecting, but another one.

OK.
The 3 year old pregnant cat should still be coming in, but today my friend went to trap a couple of cats to get them neutered for an old lady who feeds them. The one came waddling up the path & it was fairly obvious she was pregnant. She didn't need to set the trap........ she just picked her up as she is so friendly. :roll: She called me to ask if I'd take her & of course I said yes. My 2 spare pens were clean & ready for new arrivals, so as I was working late she said she'd get her to my house once she'd been to the vets to have her bloodtested..... She went to the vet, the FIV/FeLV test was negative & the vet said she's due to have the kittens any day. :shock:
My husband was here to settle her in.......... I didn't get home until 9pm, but had to go & see her, she's only the prettiest thing I've ever seen.:cool: Tabby long haired. Very pretty, lovely markings!

She sounds gorgeous Smudgley - totaly gorgeous so she needs a name and what letter are we on for kittens now?? can you remember?????

I think the litter letter thing went a bit off track with the last couple of litters.:?
How about we let Jerrysmom pick a name for the mommy cat when she's seen her photo tomorrow & the rest of you can pick some names for the babies. :cool:
we should all have one,then they will all be catsey kittens!!

I have learnt (since I started working at the vets) just HOW much the Feral Cate Care and the CPL as well as the other charities actually do!! They are amazing, as are thier foster Mums etc!! The time and effort people put in is wonderful!!

We've seen Bluebell grow from a tiny bundle of fluff to a big bundle of fluff it will be brilliant to see another Smudgley kitten grow up.

It is exciting...I'm on the other side of the Pond and can't wait to see pics of the mum-to-be, and help naming her and the kittens when they come...in memory of a friend's cat, may I suggest Matilda ....?

The boy kitten I was going to get after Dandy died turned out to be a girl cat (Leia...long story). but he was supposed to be named Taz after the cartoon Devil.....

I like male cats to have good masculine sounding names - often english-type surnames or even fine upstanding first names. We've had Sissons, Roger and Watson, now have Bentley and Chester. Other good ones - Arthur, George, Maxwell, Robertson, Jenkins, Johnson, Browning, Dobson etc etc etc.
I like names like that too DM but I also like Biblical names...Moses. Jacob, Pharoah...

well I've loaded them onto photobucket, but can't get them onto Catsey... I'll try again, but if it doesn't work I may have to ask if anyone could load them if I e-mail them? I'll have a go - but I'm going out in 10 mins & I need to phone someone about a kitten as well whilst I'm doing it..... :roll: If I dissapear I'll be back on about 10pm.

Boys: Bailey, Chester, Buddy, Bandit, Marley and Teddy
Girls: Freya, Suki, Catkin, Buffy and Gypsy.
