Bliss got her first CC today and Best of Breed :D Not bad considering she is only just old enough to enter adult classes :cool: She also got two other firsts and a second in her side classes and won the Lancashire cat trophy for the Oriental adult section! A very successful day :D

Yes, her colour is now sorted, she is definitely Caramel tortie. She needs two further CC's under different judges to gain Champion status and then....maybe...kittens ;) After that I'd like to take her back out for her Grand Certificate but it is all in the future, you never know how things will turn out so one thing at a time....

Fran it was lovely to meet you yesterday at the show.

I too am very proud as it was Grace's and my first ever show and she was placed 3rd in her Open Class. She was up against some tough competition but i am very proud of her.

I've got even more good news too my babies have arrived over the space of last night and today. Mum not very happy at the moment and not having much to do with them so i am hand feeding them but hopefully once she is rested she will pay more attention. It seems mum mated on her first day at stud and the kittens are only a couple of days early at the most. We have 5 will keep updated.

Well hopefully it looks like we might have turned a corner. Mum seems a lot more happier and settled today and she has started to clean them and let them suckle. I am still supplement feeding them until her milk comes in properly so fingers crossed.
Unfortunately she had an accident with kitten number 4 it had its cord round its leg and she bit through the leg of the kitten. Kitten is on antibiotics and pain killers but thriving still so hopefully it shouldnt be too dramatic for it. Will end up having to have part of its leg amputated though so a special home will be needed for this little baby if indeed i do rehome it lol.

Will take some piccies in next few days for you to see.

It is a very emotional moment especially when you get your very first ever CC :cool: Hubby was more emotional than I was tbh :roll: I couldn't stop jumping up and down, think everybody had thought I had gone mad! Bliss' breeder was also at the show, she had two cats made up to Champion on the day and including Bliss, four of her cats got a CC and three BOBs!! a very sucessful day for her indeed. She sent me a lovely congratulations card which I got yesterday, which was really nice of her :D

Just read the judges critique of her (the one that judged her open class and awarded her 1st, CC and BOB)...I'm soooooo proud of her!!!
