Update Casper...

Poor casper now has a bad cough, he is not sneezing as much but is nose is all sore...I have put some katalax on it, think he will have to go back to the vets on Monday....:(

If it is kennel cough the vet will be able to give you a very effective medication Moli - it cleared Min up almost immediately when she had it. Sorry can't remember the name. It makes some cats sick apparently, but she was fine
Could you get an appointment today? Maybe? If you asked nicely?

Was going to wait till he had been on the AB's for a few days, he is eating and drinking, and sleeping a lot, I will see how he is in the morning....

Poor little Casper. To get a cough on top of the sneezies must be really miserable for him. Let's hope the antibiotics can work on that as well.

Don't think so Mags, ther was just a woman with a rabbit in at the same time, it may not be kennel cough, but sounds like it, he is not coughing a lot, he just wants to be wrapped p in his balnket all the time.....

The vet said she thought it was a virus, but none of the others have it, trouble with siamese they can go down hill so fast!

The vet said she thought it was a virus, but none of the others have it, trouble with siamese they can go down hill so fast!So true, but they also can recover very quickly! I've forgotten what the diagnosis was, but my Siamese became very ill quite suddenly, wouldn't eat, etc....back from the vets after shots, he perked up amazingly and started eating prawns that afternoon, and was almost normal the next day! Hope Casper is well on the road to recovery..(((hugs)))
