Well we finally got the kitten home :D

it was a bit manic doing the introductions at first, but we've found a spot for him at the top of his new cat tree to be safe :) so indie has calmed right down and hes fallen asleep :) yipee.

will post photos later :)

Yes will it be Harvey - mind you sometimes you need time to double check name and character coincide. :)

Glad all has gone well - may I wish you many happy years together.

What did his breeder say about a collar???

the breeder suggested no collar but to microchip.

we still havent settled on a name... lol.

well all was calm, but no indie is sitting at the bottom of his cat tree growlng at him. shes gettin really frustrated that she cant say hello. and cos he keeps growling at her, its making her worse.
im sure it'll settle down in a couple of days when he gets used to the place.

I think I would be inclined not to leave them together unsupervised until they have got used to each other Jenny..

i have a week and a half off work to settle him in :)

hopefully things will settle down.

I'm happy for you! A lovely new kitten, ,looking forward to the pics when you get settled! I hope he won't be too lonesome by himself tonight, but suppose it can't be helped if the dog's with you. Give him a cuddle from me!

well the first night went well, cept it took til about 1am for indie to stop whining to go to him! lol.

the kitten settled down well, cried a bit at first but seemed happy.
he was talkative this morning until indie came in the room, and hes gone quiet and just playing with his breakfast on his cat tree, lol.

He'll be fine soon Jenny.
Didn't you say he's been raised with dogs?

jenny

hi dm, yes he was raised with a doberman. but indies a bit louder than the dobie! lol. shes whining, barking, growling etc.

hes had a wonder round the lounge with me holding indie. and hes back on his cat tree now. if he didnt growl at her, she wouldnt react, she just wants to play and sniff. so i think once hes used to her and stops growling it'll be fine.
