Wooohooooo after eating a load of rubbish over January (I blame the stress of work :) ) I have lost 4lbs this week!!!! I am so pleased. I was 10 stone 5lbs and I am today 10 stone 1lb :)

Just got to get down to 9 stone 7lbs and I will be happy :-D

Well done!

How did you lose 4lbs? Im guessing that it was intentional?!

I would love to lose weight, but I would never go to the gym and I eat so much! ;)

It is eating low carb food, I haven't exercised at all this week (week of work lazing about lol)

Basically I cut out rice, flour, sugar, pasta, potatoes, all high carb foods, and eat very basic foods.

So loads of protein, dairy and veg and salad.

A few years ago I lost about 3 stone by low carbing.

Well done Emma!! I'm also back on my diet this week, but don't weigh myself until monday. I was 10 stone 8lbs, so will see how I have done in a few days (gulp). I'd be happy to reach the same target as you. Keep up the good work!

Oh I definately need to low carb again!!!! Am 10st currently. Still doing ok, but never quite got to that magic nine and a half stone goal!!

Well done Emma!!! I joined the gym about a month ago and have been going 3 times a week and trying to eat well too, and I have only lost about 4lbs in that time. It's taking agessssssssssssssssssss!! :(

I keep telling myself it's because I'm getting toned and muscle weighs more!!! lol

Well done Emma!!! I think I may have to resort to GI or Atkins again as no amount of exercise seems to be shifting my paunch this time :(

Yes Mags my body does seem to prefer the low carb way of eating, I feel much better over the last couple of days as well.

Donna I thought you looked great in your recent photos, how have you been eating recently? finding it easy to maintain your weight?

Charlie I am sure you are putting on more muscule weight, don't forget building muscule means that you have to burn more calories so I am sure you will see an big improvement soon, I remember when I went down the gym (quite a few years ago now) I was doing 5/6 times a week (got a bit addicted to it ;) ) and I got very toned up but I still weighed about 9 1/2 stone.

Yola - one reason why I love low carbing when you get down to your magic weight and all the tummy goes ;)
