To strike an animal with out a care
Is so much more than they can bear
To humilliate, degrade and cause such fear
To the creatures that we should hold so dear.
I was taught to take care, love and respect
And not to beat, starve or neglect
Any life form, be it large or small
The abuse police, they cannot call
Eva can drive to my witts end
But not a hair would I harm on my pretty girls head
I cannot fathom that strike in anger
For those who would hurt animals
May you end up in the clanger!!!
