So having this new camera, of course I've been running around snapping picture after picture of my five gorgeous, if somewhat hairy, models.

They didn't all turn out overly well - I'm bad at focussing on the fly  and I'm still getting used to the various settings etc (my previous camera is a piece of horror) but here are some pics... Um... Most with kittens in them

One of our two cacti  I just love this shot - it was also the very first one I took.

Close-up of the door whilst Sushi was gnawing on my foot

And here we can see Ke-ki and Sushi, fighting over my bag

Ke-ki says hiya!

And Sushi is our little princess, as evidenced by her mighty rulership over the umbrella

Hope you enjoyed!

Someone gave us their mother without telling us she was pregnant. Their eye colour will change - kittens are generally born with blue eyes.

Thanks everyone - DM, I put that one in there just for you

Ok... I am used to blue eyes having the Himalayans and I thought maybe they were part Himmie... they are beautiful kitties; blue eyes or not!

Really nice pics, and love those two little cuddly ones, Sushi and Ke-ki! In my old neighborhood there were two coal black cats both with blue eyes...very unusual, never seen that before!

My plan for today is to get some pictures of each of them :-) I know I already have some adorable ones of them nursing on the floor.

Found out today they're already using the litterbox (well Ke-ki and Kobu definitely are, but Wasabi is generally the quickest one and Sushi isn't usually far behind ) so time is fleeting once again!

Thanks for the compliments :-D

The kittens are just adorable - doing what kittens do best, being nosey :D

I love the cactus picture, the colours and textures are superb!! It's obviously the combination of a good camera and a creative eye :-D

Thanks Yola and Jac :-D My friend's daughter babysat (and kitten-sat, of course ) last night, and according to my friend she's been begging to have one

She was one of the first people I asked when we found out 'Shimi was pregnant, but they have an Alsatian x Collie who doesn't get along with cats, although she's the best-behaved dog I've ever known otherwise!

Oh thats a shame. Do you think the dog could get used to one? The reason I ask is Blue hates cats outside but when I had my two he was great with them.

I don't know, but she's pretty old and my friend's decided not to put her through the stress of it.

Mind you, I'm secretly happy as we've decided to keep all of them for ourselves ;)

Ah, this may be true, but with an army of cats who will dare challenge my judgment and sanity?
