Here you go then!!!

Well the big plan has now been actioned. I now have what I think is a large enough set up for Pickle and Twinkle who were bonded a month or so ago. What do you all think?
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c362/donnamcg/DSC00001.jpg
The set up comprises two 4ft hutches that have been completely joined together to make an 8ft hutch. Half of the top is floored and half is open so they have room to stand on their back legs in half of the 8ft and room for a bedroom and eating in the other half of the 8ft.
Here are some more pics:

The next picture shows Twinkle showing you how she can stand on her back legs to have a good nose about and a stretch (spot the white tummy)!!

And one from the top half looking down:

And a shot of the run which is attached. It is 9ft x 3ft and they have access to this from around 7am to 10pm unless the weather is atrocious then I might tuck them up a bit earlier in the eve:

Half the run is roofed with clear plastic so they can get out even if it is raining.
Few more pics to show the length of the whole set up:

Thanks Emma!!

Plenty of room for them to run around now. Hate rabbits being stuck in tiny hutches no bigger than a shoe box. Its cruel.

Now they have 27sq ft run and 24sq ft hutch so plenty of space :)

It all looks lovely Donna!! I am very lucky that my rabbit has access to a run which is around 150 sq ft and he has a 2 storey mansion too  He used to have access to the whole garden but he has escaped on a few of occasions  so now has to be confined for his own safety and that of the neighbours plants :-D

Yes that sounds great too Fran, unfortunately, my whole garden is probably not 150ft!!!!

I could let mine have the run of the garden when I am out there, but even so, am still worried about how safe they are so like the run for my own peace of mind!!!

I agree, I have spent many hours chasing him round the village with the cats in hot pursuit trying to herd him home too  I don't agree with keeping rabbits confined in small hutches with little if no access for a good run about. Your set up looks great..I hope they will both be very happy together

You've done an excellent job there Donna ........ I don't like the thought of rabbits cooped up in a small hutch either ........ they certainly have plenty of space to move around in there :D

Thanks everyone. They spent their first night in the bunny mansion (run shut off for the night as scared there might be foxes about). They are both very bouncy this morning and already out and running in and out of the hutch/run!!!
