I love watching it myself but always seem to miss it. My hearts in my mouth whenever I watch them going over the jumps. My Raechel has started jumping now and it's bad enough watching her going over the little ones, Heaven knows what I'll be like when they get bigger!
I really enjoy the showjumping.
Wow did you see Robert Whitaker clear 7ft4" wow GREAT
Now Marcus Fuchs clear too now John Whitaker father of Robert to go
He's clear too 3 clear - fantastic.

you're getting very excited there Karen, calm down dear, it's only men on a horse, lol!
Its on live again on Sunday apparently if your daughter would be interested - there isn't much that not "big brotherish" on TV now is there - you can really see the amount of work and training they put into it.

The Puissance is my favourite show jumping event. I always fancied having ago. Most I have jumped is almost 5ft

5ft! Good grief, that's still way to high for my liking. Raechel can't wait to jump that high (I'll be covering my eyes at that point).

I was lucky, my mare was very brave. I pointed her at the fence, then closed my eyes whilst she took me over it  :-D

No, Harvey has retired although for some reason I was under the impression he was riding in this competition :? I only saw the last few minutes Mags, maybe Kazz can help out with the 'Oliver' person?
There was an Alan Oliver who rode in the late 50's 60's maybe early 70's don't recall him though.
But there was also Oliver Skeet the chap with the drealocks remember him????
There was John Whitaker, Harvey Smith, David Broom, Robert Smith too I think and some forgeign riders whocan't think now will try,
