They're not fantastic but they were taken with a £6 digital camera and it is -16, hopefully you can get the general idea.

You certainly do get the impression of an overwhelming sense of space . . . lovely colours too. Thanks Nae - maybe Paul can send us a photo-diary of his travels??? I'd love to see a glimpse of all the different places he visits.

Now that he has managed to set up his emails he's gonna be sending me pics of places he's been.

Hopefully he's back on or around the 10th January

I thought it looked warm until he sent me a pic of one of the lads all dressed up in his winter gear. He looks like a Michelin Man :lol:

We talk everyday as he's managed to set up his messenger account. I'm gutted he's not gonna be home for xmas but we were expecting it.

It looks like he's gonna be home on or around the 10th January so he'll be home for my birthday :D

I've got some info on where he's working and a couple more pics of the mine. I'll only post the one as it gives a better view of the landscape.

Hubby's in amongst that lot somewhere :D
