Sorry this is a really bad poem. But thought it might make you smile. A cats view of Christmas written by me just.

Here we go again
The thing the call Christmas is back.
They bring a tree in the house
I know it sounds odd, but they do really they do
If only I knew why?

Coloured balls and bows they hang on it
Then over it they put burning lights that glow you know
Boxes, paper and brightly coloured bags a cats delight
Ribbon and bows they leave all around us, but they’re not for play
If only I knew why?

Presents they say; here's a present
Not sure what that is but it makes them smile
Then a tantalising aroma of turkey fills the air
And the thing they call Christmas almost here
If only I knew why?

But last night again he came again the man in the red suit
With a jingle of bells his quiet footsteps fell
Its Santa Claws back again, Its Christmas - he's here
Speaking to me softly as he fills the children’s sacks
If only I knew why only reindeers can fly?
