Well just had the young girl from 4 doors down at the front door their darned rabbit has escaped again  for some reason they keep leaving the back gate open and the rabbit hops out as he is rarely in his hutch.
This summer I must have rounded him up about 4 times I am not a rabbit person so I usher him home with the broom  but he's gone hop about again they have only just noticed when they just went to put himin his hutch for the night they last saw him about 3pm - for certain when he had some cabbage leaves or somethingfrom Sunday dinner so he could be anywhere in almost 4 hours :( I have said I will keep an eye out.

For Heavens sake!!! The rabbit has been on the run for 4 hours and they've just noticed. Isn't very responsible of them is it. I hope they find him though as it's not the nice out there for a poor wee bunny on his own.

Oh no poor Bugs. I hope he hasnt gone too far and that he is found safe and well. They should consider getting Bugs a run to play in.

Rabbits are quite territorial. One of ours has escaped numerous times but he always comes home ;)

Very irresponsible indeed! Poor thing, hope he makes it home safely! You don't have foxes, do you?

Unfortunately we do DM. All over the place. Always worry about foxes with my bunnies. But tuck them up safely every night and they are in a run during the day which is very secure.

Yours sound well-protected! We have foxes here in Washington in the parks, one of which is only 2 blocks from my house: one reason my cats are indoors! Hope poor Bugs makes it through the night.....

Hope they get him back. The pub behind me had one that got out all the time, I was forever ushering it back.
Dawn.

Just of to take the girls a trot round the block and will keep an eye out for Bugs (or whatever he/she is called) I am not taking my broom with me, if I see him/her I'll come back and get it. People think I am nutty enough - no seriously they do but they still love me my neighbours - they have to, I mean I know where they live and could pop in and visit them at any given moment. :) a threat I use to keep them from laughing out loud at me.;)

Bugs is apparently home, just sawtheolder daughter about 17 and asked and she said "Yep he's back" so no idea where when or how - not that I will bother next time.

Mind you I will I imagine I couldn't let him/her wander about if I saw it out.
