Chancer would be asleep and suddenly want out, 2 minutes later he was back in, I thought he went out to do his business...But watched him this morning, he went out to get a drink out of a puddle!I have spent about 15 minutes teaching him to drink out of a bowl of water, he seems to have got the hang of it now..;) ..
Would never have occured to me he didn't know what a water bowl was!:(

Just shows you how they adapt to their environment. He didnt have a bowl before - and now he has his own special bowl!! How cute!!

As long as he stays healthy I wouldn't worry too much Moli........

He is not keen on being hot, mine lot will sit on the radiator! Chancer prefers to be as far away from it as he can....

Maybe he has adapted himself a thicker undercoat Moli during his time out of doors. I imagine to him being in a house and the warmth being constant is enough. Being under a radiator may be stifling.

Misty usually drinks out of the bird bath even though we have 3 bowls of water in various places around the house!! Cats; strange creatures, eh?!

He has got a very thick undercoat, he looks huge, but its all fur....

Makes me think that with such a thick coat, he may not stay indoors as much as you'd like during the winter...wish I could get close enough to the little stray I've been feeeding to see how heavy her coat is,,,

Puddles taste better to cats than our tap water with the stuff that is in our tap water - and I woudln't worry too much about any effects on their tum, they have survived for years like that!! Ginger was odd, despite having an extra thick coat due to being a stray, he was still to be found under rads most of winter!!
