we have a MONSTER boy almost 2 years old and weighing in at 7 kg. He ( Murphy ) is not fat just big. is this unusual?

Some cats don't reach their full size until around the 3 year mark, so perhaps!

He's a gorgeous boy!! British shorthair? Don't think he's really too heavy (as a Yankee I don't know metric so had to go to a conversion table & that's 15.4 pounds) my moggie Leia, a dilute torbie is 6 years old and weighs 14+ pounds...she's not fat, just a big cat!

my other guys are a year older and both weigh about 5kg..I was just a bit frightened by the monster getting bigger and BIGGER

I just did the conversion table to figure out how much monster man weighed in pounds, and 7 kg = 15.4 pounds, so it should be a little over 7 kg.

I think some cats are just more muscley, dense and large than others! All my 3 persians are quite small but I did have a british short hair cross that was a hooooge boy!!!
