I wrote this poem for my cat scampi,who disappeared on june 10th 2005.
He had fip but was doing really well,and then never came home one evening.

You will always be,
my special boy.
You bought me love,
you bought me joy.
You were always there,
to ease my fears.
You made me smile,
you dried my tears.
We both had such,
a special bond.
I cant believe,
now you are gone.
That summers night,
it came then passed.
I could'nt know,
it was our last.
Your dish was full,
your bed empty.
Where are you?
You should be with me.
I called your name,
searched every place.
My heart became,
an empty place.
The months pass by,
i still dont know.
Just why,or where,
you had to go.
I will always keep you,
in my heart.
Even though,
we're far apart.
I have been told,
of Rainbow Bridge.
Where i believe its where,
You now live.
A place where rainbows,
fill the sky.
Where you can live,
and never die.
It's filled with love,
and theres no pain.
Its where i will,
see you again.
So when this world,
has seen me through.
You know that i,
Will come for you.
We will share the love,
we had before.
On Rainbow Bridge,
forevermore.
