Casper came in at lunchtime with a big swelling on the left side of his face, Phoned the vet, luckily she fitted me in straight away, seem the daft cat had eaten a wasp or bee and got stung!!! She gave him a couple of jabs and he is back to normal now...
Leo just, I think fell off the worktop in the utilityroom, and seems to have hurt where his tail meets his body!!he cannot put his tail up...So bak to the vets tomorrow!

Sounds like Leo is in the wars! Could have that "water tail" or "dead tail" got several names, Dogs get it a lot, bruised and they cant lift it, hurts them too, usually is back to normal in a few days, silly boy, hope he is ok.
Dawn.

Will it put Casper off chasing bees do you think? silly question! of course it won't. What are they like!! Hope Leo recovers soon. Sometimes it seems we need season tickets at the vets

Hope they are both back to good health soon.

I think that I should have shares in my vets practice with the amount of money I have spent over the last 3 months or so, but better safe that sorry.

Goodness me, Moli. I agree 100% that it's better if the vet checks it out. Hope they're both back to normal ASAP!

Poor kits! Hope they're both netter soon! Su-ling the Siamese caught a wasp once & had a jaw swollen up like mumps on one side, but it did teach him a lesson....if it goes BZZZZ it's dangerous! Never did it again!

Leo has just bruised his tail, he has had a jab and is looking better, he spent all day under a bed, but since coming back from the vets, has been outside...

Nothing that an extended stay under a bed can't cure, or a stroll through the garden. :-) I'm glad to hear he's feeing better!
