An odd friendship has occured in our house...between Clementine and Ralph! Now lets see...Clementine is a 3/4 yr old (i forget!) lazy, loveable, takes-everything-in-her-stride kinda girl who likes everyone but keeps herself to herself if you get me...then Ralph is a bouncy, lunatic, exhuberant almost 4 month old Springer Spaniel pup...and they are the best of friends-odd isn't it?!?!
And i mean the BEST mates...when Ralph is let out of his crate first thing in the morning..Clementine is there waiting..they then plodd around the garden together (she opens the bolt on the gate for him:roll:) then it usually ends in the odd couple sprawled out snoozing somewhere-quite the odd couple don't you think?

Opposites attract? :-) A friend is a friend is a friend, no matter how different they are.

I had some earlier but they ended up quite out of focus..
The bolt opening is easy pweasy for a cat who can opened the fridge and/or freezer!

Its catching her thats hard-she has cottoned on that she shouldnt do it...but that doesnt stop her!
Her technique-to stand halfway between the fence slats on the bottom bar...seeming as shes just totering through..then she will make sure knowone is looking and bats the botl across-releasing ralph upon our poor plants!!

Its called having a hunk of junk from 1995 thats seal is broken from the many young children, pets, etc prying it open..she puts her paw under the door (claws out) and hooks it open-vwoilla!
Shes allways been able to open things since she was a kitten-unfortunatley:roll:

Back in the Dark Ages when I was a little kid, we had an old fridge with a foot treadle (handle also) so if both hands were full you just stepped on the treadle....bet my 14+ pound Leia would be able to figure that one out quickly...all she'd have to do would be sit on it...oh my:D
