North East of Scotland...That Cactus was in a greenhouse all winter that had a lot of glass smashed with the gales we had, and it still flowered this year, it is about 10 years old, never been repotted!!

Didn't think we had had that much sun, greenhouse or no greenhouse.
It looks grand, so it's obviously happy.

Lovely pictures! Is that hellebore in the upper right of the 2nd rose picture? I put in 3 last Fall; the damn squirrel dug up one that didn't survive replanting; of the remaining 2, only one bloomed...

Lovely photos Moli.

My roses look rather feeble this year. One seems to have been eaten alive and the stems are all string thin and lifeless although flowering.

The other two are rather feeble with no flowers and mouldy looking leaves. Any tips?

Roses fall prey to all kinds of nasties! they need to be sprayed regularly, cut off all the bad buts, get some Bug Killer and give them a good spray...they should come on again.....

The little white flower is a star in baskets.

I don't know its name either, although I have some. I got mine from the market, so I'll go tomorrow or saturday and see if they still have some. If so, I'll get the name (will remember to take pen/paper - can you imagine walking back from town chanting a latin flower name under your breath so as not to forget?!):)
Nice pics Moli
