Arrived today. A "coffee-dot" KittyCat Boutique creation. And would he pose for the camera? No!
Here he is rolling about on the path:

And here hiding in the undergrowth:

He also got a new harness in his old colours, so I can wash one while he wears the other. The way he rolls everywhere, wades in mud, worries grass  :

Better piccies will be posted here when he falls asleep, or I *tape* him to a tree! :-D

I need a harness for Bluebell, for when we take her away again in the caravan, the one we've got I borrowed from work & it isn't a good design. I've looked on the KCB website & couldn't see Rovers harness.

Just send an email with the measurements you need, and which pattern and, as if by magic, you'll get one. :-) Think they're too busy to update the site with harnesses at the moment.

How do you know measurements? What patterns are there? I've never bought a cat harness before. I want one just like Rovers, in Bluebell size.

You measure around her neck - you want a measurement that is comfortably firm (if you've ever been measured for clothes - same sort of thing) and that won't slip over her head. Then the same for just behind her "elbows". Maybe the distance between where you want the neck-bit and the chest bit as well, if she's a patient girl and hasn't run off with your tape-measure yet. "Close enough" is good enough, the neck- and chest-straps can easily be made to expand or contract to fit. Then you pick the pattern you want from what is available for the collars. And Robert is your mother's brother. :-)
Just about anything light-weight will do for a lead. Dog-lead, shoelace, extending-cord lead, Rover's tried them all. :-)

thanks for that. I'll have to get measuring. & It would have to be a very posh shoe lace for Bluebell to walk on.

Right. After a few more of these:

He finally stod still for three seconds, right way up and reasonably tidy:

Early night for me - worn out climbing, ducking, coercing, grumbling, thinking I had
a one-in-a-million shot only to discover the camera had gone to sleep...

He's hiding just higher than the centre of the photo. You can only just make out a baleful eye and some tabby stripes in the dark.

It's what tabbies do best? Mind, my best mate has a big tortie, and she's sent me several photos with the cat in plain sight, but you have to be told where to find her because she's invisible.

Hreow, he gets handsomer in every series of pics!! I spotted him at once in the underbrush, but like you, had experience with cats camoflaguing (sp?) themselves in shrubbery...they are VERY good at it...:-D
