I'm soooo jealous, love fresh strawberries but just haven't got the space to put any at the moment :(

No need for the courier. The jam will be fine for regular snail-mail.... :-D Good idea to spread the cropping over a longer period, even when it involves digging.

Mine are just coming in now. But don't think I'll have 18lb :oops: In fact I'll struggle for 18oz.:roll: But soon there will be lots hopefully.

PS - your little strawberries in the picture look all sad. :(

4 neighbours with a good heap of berries, 6lbs of jam made and a crowd of kids came collecting for th local Community Centre last night, so they went away happy with £2 and 2lbs of strawberries to munch on their mission!
Wonder what I'll find today?
There are the first of the raspberries and tayberries ripening off I know ......
