Been having a look on the Budget Vet website and they now do a Kitten Package.

Full primary vaccination course (flu, enteritus, lukemia)
Microchip
One months free insurance
One months combined flea and wormer
Kitten pack

All this for £39!!!! The primary course alone is £30!

Think I can fight back if hubby uses the argument that getting a kitten is too expensive :D

Sounds like a good thing, unless someone knows something detrimental about Budget Vets?
Glad you are gathering ammunition in good time. :-)

sounds very good. I've not heard of these budget vets and kitten packages before myself. But it does seem very good.

Any addition to the household surely needs the ok of all adult humans/felines living there? Especially Other/Better halves, as you can't as easily return them to the rescue-centre/breeder, or rehome them, if they go haywire about it. :-D

Budget Vets is based in the South Wales valleys. They were the vets that spayed Moli for me and she ended up staying with one of their veterinary nurses over the weekend cos I couldn't get back down to Newport.

They would have my vote of confidence, then. :-)

Well hubby seems impressed with the Kitten Package especially when I showed him the individual prices

Vaccines - £30.00
Flea/wormer - £13.20
Microchip - £10.00
Total £53.20

That's not including the kitten pack which includes loads of goodies, free toy and info on keeping a kitten and insurance

I'm saving at least £26.20

He seems to be mellowing to the idea of another cat and I've told him my plans aswell, the cat pen will be gong back up for the first couple of weeks then slowly progressing to having the run of the kitchen then after vaccinations it can have it's pen outside and spend most of it's time with Moli in the garden :D

Sorted!!!!
