It has been a bumper crop so far this year with mine Moli, this is the third lot and I reckon I will get at least another four like this, loads of fruit on the plants to ripen as yet :)
Some of them are quite big as well :)
Just a shame the OH doesn't like strawberries ;)

If you fancy something sweet Donna berries (Strawberries etc) are one of the best choices and of course you can have cream with them. On Atkins after induction (minimum period two weeks) you can introduce berries into your food. I believe the South Beach diet (low carb with fruit) you can eat these from day one.
Wow! those look delicious Emma..very well done indeed..
Those look mouthwatering strawberries Emma!:D

Dandysmom I dont have too many problems with the bird as my raised beds are actually netted.

:) I occasionally get one hanging over the side that gets nibbled by the birds, I did see a blackbird today who kept flying up the side of the plot trying to get a strawberry :)

It's a good year for strawberries - I am innundated! I've ordered a dozen of a late fruiting variet for next year, so I can extend the season through July, rather than have this Wimbledon glut'!

Wow girls your strawberries look fab! My dad's strawberries haven't strated to rippen yet but I've promised Louise that we'll grow our own strawberries next year. Hopefully by then we'll have loads of room in the garden for flowers and strawberries

If you're badly held up I'll have raspberries and tayberries (like loganberries) next week. A few are just starting to redden up. Also gooseberries.

With the new garage up, you should be able to hang hanging baskets with strawberries off the eaves? If you run out of ground-space, that is. :-)

Yep I'm ready and got my camping gear sorted just incase we have to stay over ready for the raspberries
Somehow don't think hubby'd be very pleased. Hanging baskets on his garage? I'd be hung, drawn and quartered
