Another urgent drawing, to be finished by the start of July, I am trying out a new paper, seems quite good, although I can't get many layers down. I hope you all like.

Just a note for anybody wanting an urgent drawing done, any more will have to wait until I have finished Fran's drawing of Bootsy, as poor Fran has been waiting long enough, and I don't have having a half drawn drawing hanging around for so long.

Seriously, I don't mind waiting. I have my drawing of Claude which I am made up with :D I don't want to be greedy and am happy to wait until others have theirs :-)

A little update, corrected the right eye as it was a bit "wobbly" I will darken up the fur on the face quite a bit, just getting some idea as to the light and dark shading on the face

CJ - I purchased some cartridge paper from WHSmiths (under £4 for an A4 pad) and 24 WHS watercolour pencils for £4.99, a good HB pencil, a kneadable putty rubber (WHS sells these) and a regular Staedtler Mars Plastic eraser, a good pencil sharpener.

All of this cost under £12.

Oh dear, are black cats hard to do???? I can dye Misty to a blond for her drawings perhaps??? :-D

EmmaG

I find them easy to draw but I know some artists do find them very difficult as they can look very flat.

No need to bleach Misty :)

Another update

Just need to finish the white fur off, add a tail :) (I think) and shade a little bit of colour for the floor, then make a few minor changes and this should be done :)

What do you all think??

Hi Emma I'm a newbie and this is the first thread I have looked at and I have to say you are a fab artist, I would love you to do my cats and I have a rather nice picture of my mums dog called Tess who unfortunately is rather poorly and we think she may not be with us much longer, wouldn't it be a lovely rememberance gift.
Hope you don't think I am being rather forward being so new here myself, I bet your talents are in high command,
and why not they are beautiful and I haven't looked at all of them.
