For the last 3 months there has been a grey and white cat turned up its dirty smells bad and very very thin and not had his bits chopped off:shock: Now its getting thinner and thinner I just rang up cat prtection they said cause many females are in heat it may be just that he waiting for a female....but am not sure he is looking worse and worse....he has began to trust me and let me pet him i tried to give him food but he will not eat and am getting worried what should i do try the RSPCA? or just wait like Cat Protection said??

Not eating isn't good. I'd try the CP again and the RSPCA. Actually, I'd stuff him into a box and take him to my vet, but that's probably not the wisest solution. :-) He *may* just be old, therefore thin and not eating much.
Get a second opinion from someone, it will help *you*, if nothing else.

Poor babe, I'd probably try to catch him and get him into a vets too.
I hope you can get some one to help and very soon. Arent the cp at all interested in trying to trap him and get him the attention he needs?

Have sent you a pm.

Des, are you offering to take this one just so I know. I'm back that end on Thursday with the parrot and I don't want to be wasting my time if you're planning on taking him because I'll have the parrot with me.

Just depends on JB being able to catch him - cat is in the Bury area which as far as I know is the other side of Manchester to where you are going with the parrot, but if you can get there first, then fine.

I already knew she was in Bury ;) If anyone down that end can take him, that would be better for me to be honest, if you want to take him Des just let me know, cos I don't want to be going all the way over there if he's gone elsewhere. I spoke to Jembob yesterday and she knows I'm back over that way on Thursday again.........just let me know so my time isn't wasted.
