I have been doing some research into natural remedies i can try for Mr darcy.
As i am fed up pumping the little thing full of pills and potions.

the two i'd like to know more on are:

evening primrose oil - how much should I give him ( for his eczema)
and

Lemna minor - where I get it from and what the dose is.

OR if anybody knows of any other remedies for chronic eczema or snotty nose/sinutis/rhinitis as a result of probably having had cat flu at an early age.

really appreciate help on this one,not much around about it

Lemna minor is actually classed as common duckweed......Damn, I forgot you can't read my posts because I'm on your ignore list  Never mind, hopefully someone else can help :)

Carly, try Garlic and Fenugreek tablets from Dorwest they are supposed to be brilliant along with their Pennyroyal shampoo. Just type in Dorwest Herbs and a link will come up. :) :)

The vet should at least know who you could ask.

thanks for that kay, will try that.
Just dont see why he should be pumped full of pills that arent working anyway.
I'll be off to take a look

The shampoo is on Dorwest Herbs website. It is their own brand I think so is not available via anyone else.

no offence here, so dont take this the wrong way

but how do herbal rememdies and tablets differ really ?

you siad your using a herbal tablet, which is basically a tablet?

nearly all medication comes from plants and that and so is technically herbal anyway

asprin comes from willow bark and they jsut synthesise this in labs but its exactly the same as willow bark just without the rubbish

i appreciate herbal rememdies ahev benifits though and may be of use here but i seriously dont see the differnece in tablets and herbal remedies really
