She was ok about it. I do think that photo looks like I've dunked her whole body, head & all under water. But that's cos I got the kids to snap a photo after she's had her body bathed & just as I'd wiped a wet sponge all over her head. She was really well behaved.

anybody know where the smudgleys live? Some serious cat knapping needs doing i think :-) Bluebelle is just adorable, no wonder you want to keep her.

I always wanted a choc or blue tabby persian, she's almost there so watch out for any suspicious looking women in large rainmacs with pet carriers and cans of cat food!!!

i think it's the time of year snoof. I am sooooo broody for another furbabe to join the fmaily. I think it may be a little to do with the fact we were planning on keeping two of princess kittens.

Can I have one or two of yours then smudgley? lol

I actually have a question you may be able to answer. How much room do you need in your garden for a cat pen? I would sooo love to foster, but would only have room for max of one pen I reckon, so I am thinking nobody would let me foster.

I emailed the CPL and another local shelter last week, but still not heard back from them.

I think the minimum outdoor pen space requirements are 8' X 4 '.
A kitten pen (for mom & litter or just a litter / single kitten) is much smaller, but would need to be indoors & isolated from your own cats.
I am very lucky that I have a large garden - so my pens are all outside & I have a shed for all the cat stuff too.

One rule I have is that NO CAT has any contact with my own cats. I have had a litter inside (once) but my own cats were kept away as I wouldn't risk them having contact then finding out they had been put at risk of catching something.

oooooooooh, i measured the space in my garden, it is 9 feet by 13. So maybe a pen WOULD fit. Going to give it some serious thought!
That space doesnt include the area you can see in the piccy of my garden btw
although today i have been offered a siamese kitten in august/ sept, and a ragdoll kitten end of june.
Totally unfair as I lvoe both breeds of cat. Just got to weight up if it's a good time for new additions, or if I shall wait until later maybe.

both cats are pedigree this time. tempting, but something for another discussion me thinks!

had a chat with kids and theyer up for fostering. Just have to see what comes of it. If i dont foster here then when (if ever) I move I can re-think then, as we'll hopefully have a bigger garden!

thanks for the info tthough
