This is your introduction to Bluebell DM.
OK she is one of Skys kittens - (the O litter) we decided (well hubby decided  ) to keep her. She is really good & such a confident cheeky little kitten. We have given her a name (although it doesn't begin with "O") hubby chose the name Bluebell.
Why do you think all the grooming questions
Lovely cats! Bluebell is so cute, but fancy bathing her!! (I've had many cats over the years but never dared bathe one, I value my fingers too much!)

:cat1 ..
Really?
Properly, not just as one of someone's kittens?
(Of course, I've been away, and I'm old and stupid, so i may well have missed it!) :)

Really, really DM. We have thought about keeping another one for a while, but with the building work etc, thought we'd wait - but when John saw her, he fell in love. The vet had said she was a boy origionally - but when we checked & trimmed her bum, we could see she was a girl, John really wanted to keep her, so I brought her into the house to see what she thought of it inside. She's been as good as gold. Sleeps on our bed & in true "cat style" she wakes us up at early hours with her big purring. She's fitted in straight away - the other cats think she's ok & she is not at all bothered by the dog.
So it's official - she's here to stay for ever & ever & ever. :) :) :)
You kept that quiet Smudgley!!She is a real cutie, love the name!
-What do Smudge and Emily think of their new sister??

She didn't mind. She does look like I have dunked her in completely  on that photo, but I only put the sponge over her head. Her body was dunked in properly though. She was grubby & needed a freshen up, before I treated her with frontline.

Wow Smudgley, you're a bit of a dark horse..........how could you keep that quiet so long? To think that none of us caught on with your grooming post too!:lol:

I thought someone would twig on as I asked about grooming & all the photos of her were taken indoors
She's only been here a few days anyway & she has settled really well. She said we can continue to sleep in "her" bed as long as we don't take up too much room

That is brilliant news I am a little jealous I am so close to kittens (location wise) yet so far away (heart and common sense wise)
But she looks lovely, and her name suits her too, she looks like she will be a nice sized cat too.:)

She's not only the cutest thing ever - she got bags of personality too. I think that's really important in a cat. we are having daily "fun grooms" to get her used to it & I'm trying to make it as pleasurable as I can for her. :) I am going to keep on top of her coat. :)
PS ~ Not only can she climb all the way up onto the PC work station & sniff out the catnip drops, she can help herself to a couple too. Cheeky ;)
She is truly beutful smudgley and she looks a true character!
I bet you will have many tales to post of her animal antics now!:D

If you start with the baths early, they don't know better?
So happy you found another piece in the wall-to-wall cat-puzzle! She's darling!

Well I don't plan on too many baths. But she was "grubby". I'm not sure how they all manage to get grubby at such a young age. But she was, so she's all beautiful now & smells lovely too. She's already getting used to her grooming sessions & she sits there happily whilst chewing on her mouse.
awwwwwww smudgley they are really gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!
