Ooh I don't know - I'm scared to venture into the tubs.
Should I be peeping in there?
I thought I would just leave them.
I need to pop a couple more spuds in each tub as there are only 3 small ones in each tub & they are very big tubs.

Smudgley - it looks like you have filled the tub to the brim straight away. I expect that will still work but I've always been told to do it gradually, like I said here http://www.catpages.co.uk/talkcats/showpost.php?p=121083&postcount=4
You tend to do that in the open ground - let them show, earth them up, let them grow up a bit more, earth up more, etc etc. The leaves need to get a bit of daylight to act as the 'factory' for the plant.

Keep us posted

 We just put them in & filled right up

What do you think we should do DM - should I try & find them & start again, with just a bit of soil etc - or would you just leave 'em now & see what heppens.:?

Think I'd scoop off about half the compost and save it till later. When the shoots have about 6 leaves, put some more compost in but don't cover completely.
'Spect they'll survive - they usually do!

Will do. ;)
Thanks DM - I'll do it this evening when I water the garden.:)
