i love banana bread, but as ive got to stay on a low fat diet im going to make my own, ill use low fat spreads, low cal sugar. ill give it a try.so ill be baking this weekend, just got to buy a loaf tin first.:D
That sounds like fun!!! I'm not over keen on banana so will pass on that if it's oK ;) . . . but home baking is always good to do, and it makes the house smell nice too!!

Have you tried replacing half the fat with applesauce?
Love banana-bread, but we go through the bananas before they reach the right stage for cake. :-)

never tired banana bread
but i do love the smell of baking bread my mother used to bake her own maybe onec a month and it was mmmm and smelt mmmm

Never had it myself, but do like bananas when they are quite fresh and not all soft and sugary so usually eaten before they get to that stage.

Strange how you should mention this as one of the girls at work brought in a loaf today and we all had some :)

i shoved 4 nanas in the cupboard and charlie found them so i had to go out n buy 1 nana :shock: felt a right plank :oops: but will be doing that this morning, then off out this afternoon (well thats the plan) LOL
banana bread is great if u toast it and put butter on it mmmmmmmmmmm
