I think Kazz's acer will take some beating......it was because of hers that I wanted an acer too!:D
My next door neighbour has a wonderfull one. I'll get a piccy.

Its no good we have a storm here, I think I may end up in Kansas - the way this wind is blowing. :roll:

How big do they grow?
Donna - think some Acers are dwarf but most grow HUGE (albeit rather slowly)!!! I've had one in my front garden for about 6 years and it's a good 20ft high now. Will try and get a pic at some point (it's seriously wet and windy today).
The one I bought grows 4ft over 10 years.
I wish I'd bought one that grew THAT slow Jac. :roll:
