I would estimate Cleo now sleeps about 21/22 hours out of 24 per day.

The remaining hour or so will be spent washing herself, eating, being stroked, using the litter tray, or staring into space  .

The remaining hour or so will be spent wandering around or pottering outside. But these are now split into pockets or 15 - 20 minutes throughout the day to make me believe she is up and about more I am sure.

mine all sleep about 6 hours a nite
then from 6 till about 10am its like a mad house that mostly the kittens but mum and Minx joins in as well then its sleeping till about 1 then a quicl play feed then more sleep till the kids get home then its another mad house for a few hours then it all settles down again when the kids go to bed then at about 9 till about 12 its mad again. i dont know what its going t be like after the kittens leave as minx is more grown up now so there might be more sleeping going on lol

Lots and lots!
It's a feature of aging I think

About 18 hours a day on average I think. Some of their time is spent lazing so they could be asleep or just laying down and watching the world go by or having intermittent dozes! Their active times seem to be at different times (although they often have a mad half hour chasing each other) but they seem to spend about the same amount sleeping.

At night, they always sleep together. During the day they normally sleep apart (but always in the same room or they get upset - ahh!)

 @ Mags and Cassie :-D

My lot are variable. The boys, Claude and Clooney hardly sleep at all in the day but sleep during the night whilst we are asleep.

Fifi, about 23.5 hours!!

Balie, a little less - maybe about 18-20.

Darcy's the most active I guess he probably sleeps about 12/14

I have no idea as Moli now spends 100% of her time outdoors (she refuses to come in but it has been lovely weather here over the past few days)

My older cat Heff sleeps about 18 hours a day.

My youngest is about 14 months and she sleeps and sleeps and sleeps too yet I have a crazy black cat who is not much older than her but he is always on the go!

Think it varies here...Violet is younger and out whilst I am at work until early afternoon most days - since this nice weather she is out longer.

Mau Mau is in during morning this week and out in the afternoon. x

Clem sleeps for about 14 hours or so a day..
Elsa only about four...she isn't a very docile cat-likes to be on the move!

Winston used to sleep loads. I rekon he slept 23 out of 24 hours per day, only waking for some cuddles, meds, food and the loo.
Hard to say how much Eva and Bernie sleep. They sleep/they play, they sleep/they eat, they sleep/they poo, they sleep/they cuddle then they sleep again:lol:

If the weathers bad, my lot tend to sleep most of the day, then are little "B"'s in the evenings, but if its sunny and they get out , they sleep in the evenings...Leo goes out for his wander in the morning for half an hour, then sleeps all day...

Patches, who was very old, slept about 20 hours a day. Leia a bit less; I'd guess about maybe 18...spends the whole night in bed with me & naps on & off throughout the day...livelier in the mild weather when she can bird-watch on the porch.
