Are those tiny light green flowers in the centre of the pic, or is it all 'curly leaves'?
Intriguing looking thing - suppose it could easily be ficus family? or camelia?

Have researched ficus and it doesn't seem to fit. Those odd curly leaves????? Could it be a sick/malformed rubber plant?

Could it be a sick/malformed rubber plant?Thats what I thought when I saw it DM, but they had dozens of them, the assistant said they are mean't to be like that..Then told me she didn't know what they were...Its very healthy, got loads of new growth on it...

Have to wait for someone green-fingered.
Kazz could be your man - or Dandysmom - she is a plantswoman too.
Someone will know!

That's so unusual Moli.........how strange that they had dozens of them and not one with a name label!!
It looks like a miniture orange plant. I have seen it before. I'm sure it grows some kind of cytrus fruit. But miniture.

I'm flattered at being called a plantswoman, but I flunk this exam...haven't a clue!! Don't think it is a citrus, but am only famia aith Otahiti orange & Meyers lemon...will look thru a few plant books after dinner.
The leaves are quite fleshy, but don't think its a succulent though..Think it may be a climber...

It has a citrus-y look to it, like Jac says.
Maybe we'll have to wait to see if it flowers?
