I enjoyed it but I think they have to streeeeeeeeeetchhhh it too much to fill an hour. Too many visits to grand gardens or national collections etc.

PS - why are there never any weeds at Berryfield?

Found this

No business like hose business
Anyone who doubted the seriousness of the water shortage should think again - they have banned hosepipes and sprinklers on BBC2's Gardeners' World. Shocking! And Monty Don's not happy. "In my opinion, the 1991 Water Act is absurd - it restricts the use of hosepipes for gardens and for washing cars. But it allows people to fill a swimming pool. This is not about gardeners having it all their own way. All gardeners should act responsibly with water - but so too should others." But Monty and the team hope to show that no hosepipes doesn't necessarily equal no flowerbeds. "Hopefully we can show at Berryfields that it is possible to do this without losing the essential magic of the garden," explains the Don.

Will probably be interesting to see how they cope without their hosepipes.

hmm that will be very interesting although I would have thought that Berryfields would have quite a few water buts, at the moment mine is still full from last year.

Dont forget another episode today :)
Really enjoyed last night's edition. They stayed at Berryfield and did lots of practical things. Loved the cold frame made from 2 palletts. Not sure about the garden on the shed roof
No prog next week :(

Videoed it last night and watched half of it this morning, I agree the cold frame was very good, haven't seen the shed roof yet :)
