as you know oscar is an indoor cat never goes outside well my OH and his mate was in the back gardening fitting a lock i told them to watch the cat make sure he dont get out so they come back in and close the door, after 20 minutes i go lookin for oscar i cant find him going running around the house like a mad women screaming his name, they havent seen him...so i run to the back door and screram oscars name he is sat in the back gardening look at me as to say "what", I nearly had a heart attack he came straight back in i wish i could let him out but the women at the shelter told me he wasnt allowed, plus i dont wanna let him out i do in summer on the dog lead lol he dont mind but neveer alone, man my heart is still beating loudly dont know what i would do if he went missing!

It is so worrying when they go out isnt it? I hate not being able to see them at all times. If one disappears from the garden I am peering over walls and running down the road to try to shooo them back to the garden. So many bad things can happen.

I know how you feel KO - I let mine out under strict supervision, but occasionally they'll slip under the gate and head off into a neighbour's garden. I fret until I've got them safely back within the confines of our garden or house.
