Today I got a call about a lady that had called CP regarding a pregnant cat found in her garden, been there a few days & not moved. Very heavily pregnant! Obviously this cats goes straight to the top of the priority list & it was arranged that the rehoming officer would bring her to me this evening.
She collected the cat & has brought it in to me, but guess what?????
Go on have a guess!!!

 How is he settling in Smudgley??
He is a rather erm, podgy young man (clinically obese I think some would say)
He is a very friendly, huge ginger Tom cat! neutered. No collar / chip. possibly an escaped house cat I think.
When she got there she said, she's not pregnant! She's a he  & we shouldn't really take him in, but we are here now so we will take him & we will try & reunite him. He is clean & well looked after (not to mention well fed:shock: )

Only one problem with my cat pen..... He can't fit through the cat flap! (OY STOP LAUGHING YOU LOT!)

Well I don't think he was laughing when I put some Purina - low calorie food in a bowl, it's like puffed wheat / sugar puffs! :-D He looked at it & walked off in disgust.:?
He really is too big for the catflap. We had to leave his big door open, so he can get to his tray.
Sounds like he needs to go in a dog run....surely he won't fit in a litter tray!  :-D

It will be good if you can reunite him with his owners Smudgley and I am sure you can advise them on a good eating plan for him. I would recommend the low-carb diet myself!!!!
