I've just had a phone call from a lady who saw my wanted ad in the vets. She has no kittens at the mo but thinks that both of her queens are early pregnant now. They always have ginger.
She sounded very nice - bit 'fraffly fraffly' and, i think, from the 'old country school type' who feel it's the sort of natural order for their queens to have kits and for them to meet the demand for kittens locally. Does that make sense? Certainly didn't sound irresponsible, or ignorant of how to stop kittens.
So, I've got the options of the bsh from the breeder who is due 10 April (assuming she's preg now), and a moggy from this lady.
Sounding good eh?
Too early for decisions - don't count your kittens before they're hatched etc! :)
