Here are some photos of my garden the ones with the snow are from 2003, the shed is a blue/green colour now and I changed the veg plot so there are now two large beds (about 8' x 5' each)

Emma I envy you, all those mature tree's you can borrow from the backdrop and add to your design and the space - fantastic.

The downside of living in a built up area is neighbours overlooking you:?

But your garden is gorgeous really gorgeous.:D

Thanks everybody, the garden is really nice, right size for me and the other half it is about 100ft by 45ft.

We are planning to put fencing down both sides of the garden, this will be wooden slatted fencing about 5ft with a trellis top to it, I then intend to put some large borders in on each side, we are going to rebuild the garage to hopefully a nice double one, and I would like a summer house/gym/painting studio a bit further down the garden just after the garage.

It does look lovely in the snow and as you said Kazz it is really nice not to be overlooked at the back, the owner of the field has tried to get planning permission but with no luck, he did let out the field as it has got a rather nice wooden stable on the land, and there was two horses in there, one big white horse and a red shetland pony.

One of the sights I love to see in the morning is the family of pheasants that come into the garden and eat the seeds that have fallen from our bird feeder under the weeping willow. They make a right mess of the grass underneath but it is worth it to see them. The most I have counted is 12 in one sighting!! lol

How lovely pheasants - :-D

:-D :-D :-D I think we have got about 6 males and 6 females who visit the garden, they are so pretty, the cats are not really interested in them :-D  OH suggested having one for dinner but I know he was only joking, he loves seeming them outside and alive as much as I do.;)

Not sure where that is as i'm originally from Yorkshire, but i'll take your word for it being just down the road. Have you ever been to Jamie Olivers mum and das pub in Clavering, essex?

Nope never been, I must admit I do stick to fairly local restaurants and pubs. I will have to make sure I go there sometime :)

Lovely garden Emma. I envy you all that space!!! I have a garden that is about 15' x 35' and is overlooked all round. Cant do a great deal with it, but have tidied it up a lot since I have been here.

Lovely garden and I love your willow tree. You should get one of those iron seats that goes all round the trunk.
Doesn't everone's garden look tidy in the snow!?
