Hi everybody, and a big thank you for suggesting that I have my own section on Catpages :oops: :oops:

I thought I would do a post detailing out how this is all going to work and the sort of photos that I require.

For anybody who has already asked me for a drawing please see the thread titled members requests so far, if you are not on the list please post in the requests thread your request together with the photo you would like me to draw and I will add you to the list.

To give some newbies ideas of the type of photo that I require here is a photo that would not be very good for a drawing as it isn't very clear and quite blurred. If you supply a blurry photo the best you will get is a blurry drawing :-D

Although this photo is perhaps a little bit too bright it is nice and clear and I can always adjust the colour of eyes with a different photo.

The pastels are a lot quicker to work with than the pencils, if you would prefer me to do a drawing in pastels or pencils please let me know in your requests.

ADJUSTMENT TO ORIGINAL PHOTOS

If there is something you do not want me to draw or want me to alter from the original photo please let me know and I will try and make these adjustments.

Your drawings are absolutely gorgeous. They're so vivid and colourful, I've never seen feline illustrations so well done!

Before my cat Tiger passed away, I had commissioned a portrait of her to be done. However, it was around that time that I found out about her inoperable tumour, so I ended up not being able to bring myself to have it done. I was just too busy being so distraught that it seemed like the wrong thing to do at the time. Though I do now always have a small photo of her in a frame on my desk.

So, when you have time, I would love to be added to your list. You can choose any photo you like to base the drawing on, I shall leave it up to you - because any photo of her is precious to me.

(Please excuse the mass of photos. XD I really can't choose one, and as she's not alive.. I don't know. It feels more appropriate to let you see more of her, to see what she was like. Some are not very good and not really right for basing a drawing on, including some photos towards the end were you can see the tumour developing in her mouth, but I'd still like you to see them - I hope that doesn't bother you too much. (Apologies if it does. XD))

Hiya Emma if i decided to get my cats portraite done would you be able to put 2 cats on the same paper from 2 diffrent photos and make it look like they are together?
I have Taki but a year and a half ago we lost our other cat Lana,and was hoping to have them both as adults on the picture as if they are together.Thanks
