on costs
good charties needing help

Jem - I've answered your PM . . . should not be any cost involved (from my experience) and I would start with your local Cats Protection branch or an independent at charity if there's no CP near you.

I foster for my local CP. I love it & get a lot of pleasure from doing it.
There should be no costs to you except a bit of petrol maybe. I do all my own vet trips & sometimes collect cats.
Everything you need would be provided. When I first started I went a bit mad and bought a load of litter trays / bowls / bedding, but that's just my little way of helping cut their costs a bit. My food is provided, again I uaually buy some now & again to help out, but that is not expected.
I would contact your local CP branch co-ordinator.:)
wish i had a spare bedroom or a nice cat house in the garden to foster, but i dont.
